PLUM SKIN — in RIPENING, NFFD Anthology 2018

I’m excited that my new flash fiction, Plum Skin, has made it into the 2018 National Flash Fiction Day anthology, RIPENING. Thanks to the organisers,  readers and editors Alison Powell and Tino Prinzi.

This year’s theme was “food” and it’s bursting with stories by some of my favourite flash fiction writers — a full list of authors is up on the #NFFD blog.

It’s available to buy on Amazon as Kindle or paperback editions.

Writers — there’s a further chance to be published by NFFD right now, as the annual Flash Flood is open until Weds. 13th June. Great fun and a chance to celebrate NFFD on 16 June and be published on the website. Good luck!

Plum Skin is just 200 words long — here’s an excerpt:

Plum Skin

Fill her with your finest, and when she is heavy with meat and dough, bring me to her. She will want me.
