lyn Idwal’s great – a beautiful spot that’s accessible to families with young children, who can enjoy a picnic, paddle or swim and short- to medium-length walk, or the more adventurous walkers can trek up to Y Garn or the Glyderau.

Its accessibility means it’s a place that you can still enjoy even in the less welcoming weather, like 60mph winds.

It was, I promise, still a lovely walk.
